Jackson S. Freeman

Jackson focuses his practice on estate planning, taxation, estate and trust administration, and business law.

Jackson grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina.  He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History.  In 2022, Jackson graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he was the Managing Editor of the North Carolina Banking Institute Journal.  Prior to joining the firm, Jackson was a legal intern for a large nonprofit research institute and the Bankruptcy Administrator’s Office for the Western District of North Carolina.

Jackson is a member of the North Carolina and Durham County Bar Associations and the Durham-Orange Estate Planning Council.  Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and tennis, reading nonfiction books, and following Tar Heel athletics.
