We are a boutique law firm that focuses its practice exclusively in the areas of Trust and Estate Law, Elder Law, and closely related practice areas.  More specifically, we prepare wills, trusts and other estate planning documents for our clients, assist our clients with the administration of estates and trusts, and counsel our clients on estate and gift tax issues.  In addition, we work with business owners both on the creation of appropriate business entities and planning for the ultimate succession of the business, and we advise our clients on complex issues related to long term care and special needs planning as well as government based programs such as Medicaid and SSI.

Our firm possesses unique professional qualifications that enable us to excel in each of our practice areas.  The North Carolina State Bar has recognized each of the firm's four members as Board Certified Specialists in Estate Planning and Probate Law. In addition, two of our members are Fellows of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), an organization whose membership is by invitation only.
